Peer Sorensen boards have inherent antibacterial properties and are kinder on your knife blades than other surfaces.

Use & Care

  • Before first use and after each use, simply sponge cutting board with hot, soapy water.
  • Both sides of your board are designed to be used so turn it over periodically to allow even usage of sides.
  • Never soak your board or place your board in the dishwasher. Do not use a steel brush or steel wool on the surface of the board.
  • Periodically (every few weeks if used heavily or depending on household conditions) apply an even coat of food-grade mineral oil to the surface of the board.
  • Sponge on with a rag and let dry.
  • Do not allow moisture of any kind to stand on the board for long periods of time.
  • Please note, some foods may stain the timber.
